12-Day Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Lukla to Phakding: Begin the trek from Lukla, enjoying the fresh Himalayan air and scenic trail. Explore riverside villages, suspension bridges, and lush forests along the way.
Day 2: Phakding to Namche Bazaar: Trek through pine forests and cross suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. Experience traditional Sherpa villages and enjoy views of majestic Himalayan peaks along the trail.

Day 3: Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar: Take a short hike to Everest View Hotel for stunning vistas of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. Explore local markets, cafes, and Sherpa culture in Namche Bazaar.
Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche: Trek through pine forests and rhododendron trails to Tengboche. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery and enjoy panoramic mountain views including Everest and Ama Dablam.
Day 5: Tengboche to Dingboche: Ascend through scenic valleys and pass through Pangboche village. Spot Himalayan wildlife and enjoy views of glaciers and surrounding peaks along the trail.
Day 6: Acclimatization at Dingboche: Hike around Dingboche to help acclimatization. Take in views of Lhotse and Island Peak, and explore local villages and alpine landscapes.
Day 7: Dingboche to Lobuche: Trek over rocky terrain and moraine trails. Enjoy dramatic views of the Khumbu Glacier, Everest, and surrounding peaks as you approach Lobuche.
Day 8: Lobuche to Gorak Shep → Everest Base Camp: Continue trekking to Gorak Shep, then make the hike to Everest Base Camp. Explore the base, take photos, and soak in the breathtaking Himalayan scenery before returning to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 9: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar → Pheriche: Hike early to Kala Patthar for sunrise views of Everest and surrounding peaks. Descend to Pheriche, enjoying the Himalayan landscape and Sherpa villages along the way.
Day 10: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar: Begin the descent through lush valleys and traditional villages. Pass through Tengboche and enjoy final panoramic views of Ama Dablam and Everest on the way back to Namche Bazaar.
Day 11: Namche Bazaar to Lukla: Trek back along the Dudh Koshi River, passing through forests and Sherpa settlements. Relish the last views of the majestic peaks before reaching Lukla.
Day 12: Lukla to Kathmandu: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu, concluding the trek. Spend the day relaxing, shopping, and reflecting on the unforgettable Everest Base Camp adventure.
